Dear Diary

Dear Diary,

Today was a good day.  I'm still in the zone and lovin' life.  Among much goodness today, I (re)learned two important things:

  1. Friends are good to have.  They inspire me in ways that they may not even realize.
  2. Even though Dad is dead, his spirit lives on in my thoughts and in my work.  It's been five years and I still miss ya, pal.

Personal to do list:

  1. Spend more time with "The Liz".  Daughters need love and direction.
  2. Pray a lot more.
  3. Smile even more.  Tell a joke and laugh more.
  4. Walk more.
  5. Relax more.  Go see a ball game or something once in a while.

Professional to do list:

  1. Focus even harder at work.  The opportunity to learn in this vertical domain is tremendous and may not come again for some time.  Capitalize and activate brain sponge.
  2. Focus on code.  I must improve my skills a little bit each day.
  3. Focus on design.  Wear Graph Theory Visor more regularly.
  4. Focus on architecture.  Be a better continental rationalist today than I was yesterday.  The architecture will present itself.

Things to avoid:

  1. Anything negative.  Positive juice morning, noon and night is the prescription.
  2. Avoid criticism of others.  Make the little world around me a better place.  If I must criticize, help the person to be a better person today.

Things worth a stare:

  1. Goldbach's Conjecture.
  2. Anything NP-Complete.  Visit the zoo and see the animals.  Professional Zookeeper Aaronson keeps the animals in great condition.
  3. Fibonacci - Lucas periodicity.
  4. Bouncing Automata.
  5. Exparative Simulations.
  6. Single women in the grocery store.

Don't forget to:

  1. Brush my teeth.
  2. Leave at least two books in every room of the house for when I forget what I was doing.  Then I can read.
  3. Heat brain to 425 no more than 10 minutes after waking.  Run brain at full speed all day.  In the zone means absorb everything.
  4. Smoke the math.

I think that the next few weeks present a few difficulties personally, but a tremendous amount of flash intellectually.
